Academic Background :
After Graduation in 1985 Dr.S.M.Ishaque obtained Diploma in Tropical Medicine from the RCPS&I in 1987 and completed his Post-Graduation, Doctor of Medicine – Gastroenterology  from the Institute of Postgraduate Medicine and Research (IPGM&R), Dhaka, Bangladesh in the year 1997.
Work Experience :
 Dr. S. M. Ishaque has got vast working experiences in the field of Gasteroenterology, especially in Interventional G.I. Procedures. Before joining Apollo Hospitals Dhaka, he worked as Assitant. Professor, Associate Professor and Professor  of Gastroenterology  at BSMMU, Dhaka . He received training at various renowned National and International Centers such as BIRDM -Dhaka , AIIMS -  India NUH - Singapore  and Academisch Medisch Centrum (AMC), Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Research and Publications :
Prof. Ishaque has got many research publications in Various reputed National and International indexed medical journals. He attended and presented papers in several international and national scientific seminars.
Published a Book :     Cirrhosis of  The Liver in  Bangladesh
